Beneficial ownership: UK Overseas Territories and Crown Dependencies
Over 20 countries have joined the UK-led pilot to automatically share ownership information for companies. As such their tax and law enforcement agencies will now exchange data on company beneficial ownership registers and new registers of trusts enabling more effective investigation of financial wrongdoing and tax-dodging.

Les députés de l'Essonne Nicolas Dupont-Aignan et du Nord Alain Bocquet ont présenté, mercredi 9 octobre devant la Commission des affaires étrangères de l'Assemblée nationale, le résultat des investigations qu'ils ont menées dans le cadre de la mission d'information sur les paradis fiscaux, constituée en novembre 2012.
The summit will seek to galvanise a global response to tackle corruption.
As well as agreeing a package of actions to tackle corruption across the board, it will deal with issues including corporate secrecy, government transparency, the enforcement of international anti-corruption laws, and the strengthening of international institutions.
It will be the first summit of its kind, bringing together world leaders, business and civil society to agree a package of practical steps to:
expose corruption so there is nowhere to hide
punish the perpetrators and support those affected by corruption
drive out the culture of corruption wherever it exists
The summit will be preceded by a conference on 11 May for leaders in civil society, business and government who are championing the fight against corruption.
